An evening to remember: celebrating the launch of The Mickel Practice
On 12 May, I brought together a room full of people who matter deeply to this work, to mark the launch of The Mickel Practice.
We were hosted by the brilliant team at 29 Studios in Glasgow, a space that felt exactly right for the evening. Gillian, Kevin, Lyn, Aisling and Katelin, thank you. Your warmth and generosity made the whole thing possible.
The evening was designed to be more than a celebration. Alongside the drinks and good conversation, we used the time to do what I believe this community does best: think together. Conversation cards, moderated discussions, and some genuinely necessary debate about the challenges and opportunities facing family enterprises right now.
It was one of those evenings that reminded me why this work with family enterprises matters so much.
Below you will find a selection of gorgeous photographs from the night, capturing something of the atmosphere, the people, and the conversations I hope will continue long beyond that room.
The full album, including a video roundup of the evening, is available to download via the link below, and you are very welcome to save any images that are yours to keep.
I am so grateful to everyone who came. I look forward to growing The Mickel Practice and its place within the family enterprise ecosystem, thanks for playing such a key role so far.
Best wishes, Mairi
